Tested by: 20 midwives
In the period: February 2026 – April 2026
20 midwives gave the Caramma support bottle an overall score of 1.7.
20 midwives tested the Caramma Support Bottle for four weeks. The Caramma Support Bottle was tested by the midwife and the pregnant women/breastfeeding mothers/parents for everyday use, usability and general handling. Further components of the product test were: acceptance, ease of use, the breast-like nipple shape, the air-free feeding mechanism that requires the baby to actively work for the milk just as at the breast, ease of handling, ease of cleaning, and overall quality.
For many families, the postpartum period begins with a desire for closeness, bonding, and a peaceful start to life. For many mothers, breastfeeding is part of that ideal start—yet everyday life shows that this path isn’t equally easy for everyone. Physical challenges, emotional stress, or different family situations mean that feeding can’t—or shouldn’t—always happen exclusively at the breast. What remains is the desire for a feeding experience that fosters closeness, strengthens the bond, and comes as close as possible to natural suckling.
The Caramma Support Bottle addresses this very need. It is the first baby bottle to mimic the vacuum suction of the breast, enabling a natural, slow flow of milk in any position. In this way, Caramma promotes healthy eating habits and the child’s motor development from the very beginning, while recreating the intimacy of breastfeeding in every family setting.

The innovative Support Bottle was developed in collaboration with parents, babies, and healthcare professionals. The focus was on how to create a feeding experience that closely resembles breastfeeding while remaining accessible to all caregivers. The bottle’s shape, function, and handling are designed to foster closeness and make feeding moments mindful and peaceful. This creates intimate moments similar to breastfeeding, fostering a close bond with your baby. Caramma views feeding not merely as a means of nourishment, but as a bonding experience—enriched by touch, eye contact, and physical closeness.
Because the bottle is completely air-free, the baby must actively work to get the milk—just as at the breast—and can set the feeding pace on their own. This natural flow of milk supports healthy eating habits from the very beginning while also promoting motor development. At the same time, the active sucking motion can stimulate the release of oxytocin, which can help both the baby and the caregiver relax. The air-free system also helps reduce colic—regardless of the feeding position. The foldable bottle, manufactured in Denmark, is free of harmful microplastics, available in “small” and “large” sizes, and was awarded the Danish Design Award 2024 for its thoughtful design.
