The Braun ThermoScan^® 7+ connect Ear thermometer is clinically validated and provides accurate readings in seconds. In conjunction with the included Braun Family Care^™ app, parents can seamlessly and reliably monitor their family’s temperature curve at home. This simplifies the way to support the family’s recovery. The app, developed exclusively for the Braun ThermoScan^® 7+ connect Ear thermometer, automatically synchronizes personal data via Bluetooth^® to make it easier to track fever development over time. Individual profiles can be added for each family member so that fever readings can be assigned and tracked for everyone.

Temperature measurements via the ear

Temperature measurements via the ear are clinically proven to be as accurate as rectal measurements in newborns.^1,2 The ear is the best place to take a temperature because it more accurately reflects body temperature.^1,3 The Braun ThermoScan^® 7+ connect Ear thermometer is also equipped with a pre-warmed tip (34 °C) that is close to your own body temperature, minimizing the cooling effect that can occur and ensuring accurate results every time. In addition, the Braun ThermoScan^® 7+ connect Ear thermometer is equipped with an ExacTemp^®stability indicator. Thanks to this user-friendly technology, which confirms a stable position with a light and a beep, parents are assured of an accurate reading.

Understanding results with Age Precision^® technology

The definition of fever changes with age 4 as a child grows from newborn to toddler. Braun’s proprietary algorithm helps parents understand the results by matching the color coding to the child’s age – green for no fever, yellow for low fever and red for high fever.
